Surviving Freedom Vision Board Party

✨ About the Event

On Saturday, April 19, 2025, Surviving Freedom hosted a powerful and uplifting Vision Board Party at C.T. Martin Recreation Center, tailored specifically for high school seniors impacted by incarceration and the justice system.

This transformative event brought together mentors, community leaders, and teens for a day of self-discovery, goal-setting, and empowerment. Participants received guidance on college and career planning, life skills, and personal development. The highlight? Each student created a vision board reflecting their dreams, goals, and future plans—and boldly presented their vision to the entire room.

From aspiring nurses to future entrepreneurs and artists, every teen walked away with more than just a board—they left with a renewed belief in their potential and a plan for their future.
