Who We Are

Surviving Freedom was created to assist former inmates with successfully transitioning into society. Through personal experiences, Tiffany Gibson, the founder of Surviving Freedom, has learned the immense challenges, road blocks, and systemic complications that await former inmates. In addition to the enormous hurdles regarding secure and progressive employment, former inmates that served an extensive sentence, will also experience challenges in navigating the swiftly advancing technology landscape. The purpose and mission of Surviving Freedom is to provide a supportive structure that will increase the assimilation and success rate of former inmates.
